Hafidz is the partner of Azraai, Hazieq & Zikry with over ten years of experience as a litigator across civil, commercial, and criminal practice. His career spans both sides of the bench, from pupillage and private practice to service in the Judiciary as a Senior Assistant Registrar and Magistrate, giving him a grounded, practical understanding of how matters unfold in court.

Known for his meticulous case preparation and steady courtroom advocacy, Hafidz has handled matters ranging from complex banking litigation and commercial fraud to constitutional challenges, including being a member of the defence team that challenged the constitutionality of the mandatory death penalty under section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 before a nine-judge panel of the Federal Court.

His practice today encompasses commercial disputes, including judicial management, partnership, and shareholder matters, as well as defamation, judicial review, and employment disputes. He also advises on white-collar crime and regulatory matters, representing clients investigated or charged under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act (AMLA) and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009.

Hafidz built his own practice from the ground up, establishing Messrs Hafidzuddin Yusoff in 2021 before later merging with Azraai, Hazieq & Zikry in 2026.
